I received this email from our OREA Government Relations Department...take a stand on Home Ownership and its increased cost with respect to HST and Toronto Land Transfer Tax!  Here is  a copy of the email asking to seek help in making homeownership matters an issue in the 2011 election!! Here is the email in full:

"As a hardworking REALTOR®, you know how important home ownership is to the people you work for, the community you live in and the province you call home.

Unfortunately, Ontario’s home owners and those who one day dream of owning a home are not always top of mind with our friend’s at Queen’s Park. From the Toronto Land Transfer Tax to the HST, provincial governments have made life more expensive for Ontario homeowners.

Let’s make home ownership an issue in the 2011 Ontario election. You can tell your local candidates that home ownership matters by doing three things:

1.      Send an email to your local candidates by clicking on this link http://bit.ly/HOM-CFA - it takes just 30 seconds.

2.      Circulate the below email to all your clients, customers, friends and family and encourage them to email their local candidates to tell them “Home Ownership Matters.”

3.      Tweet or post the following messages regarding our email campaign to your Twitter and Facebook pages:
