Lakeviews newest real estate project by Queenscorp Group called "Stonewater" will contain 47 Cape Cod themed townhomes. Located across from Marie Curtis Park, along the north side of Lakeshore Rd E. This was originally intended to be a condo development which was refused by the OMB last year. It was thought there was too high a density proposed for the area. From the original condo tower, will now have these 47 townhomes. The Stonewater townhomes range from 760 sq ft to 1,381 sq ft and are priced from $239,900 to $425,900. The garden flats are one bedroom and a den. The 2-storey units with 2 bedrooms and 3-storey units with 2 bedrooms + den. All units include a one car garage and some units have balconies, terraces or patios. The Maintenance fees of $188 per month cover exterior care of the homes and shared areas of the community. The professionally landscaped front yeards reature an undergound automatic irrigation system. The exteriors will feature brick, stone and stucco, wide plank siding and pitched roofs with cedar shingles. Front entrances will be columned with covered porches plus coach lamp lighting fixtures to compliment the cape cod theme. The interiors have nine-foot ceilings and ceramic, porcelain, broadloom or hardwood flooring. Open concept kitchens have extended height uppers, breakfast bars, islands and granite counters. The area between Marie Curtis Park be a dircect access through a landscaped pathway! There are plans to redevelop Marie Curtis Park and eventually connect it to the adjacent Lakefront Promenade Park. This redevopment area includes more than 494 acres of waterfront. The waterfront trails will be extended as well a creation of treed promenades and the additon of major features such as piers! This sounds like it might be a great real estate investment for Mississauga, with the efforts that are intended to redevelop and change the landscape of the area known as Lakeview!
