| Did you notice the development application along Lorne Park Road just south of the GO tracks? There is an application from Jacan Construction to develop a 2 storey professional building on a vacant piece of land at the corner of Alberston and Lorne Park Road. The development would have 8490 sq. ft. and 22 parking spaces, be approx 30' in height, and Jacan would occupy approx. 50% of the space for thier corporate offices. The application received objections from local residents concerned about the overflow of parking ending up on their streets. A focus group is being scheduled to the review the proposal. |
